Ladies and gentlemen, we are met with an unprecedented
Ethical dilemma whose relevance hasn’t been invented
By our own very best estimates this is never ending
Despite preventative measures and our best intentions

Let’s not neglect to mention the problem is global
And whether socially conscious or conscientiously social
If you’re truly honest the response has been woeful
So please allow me to offer a modest proposal

Re: the legions of refugees fleeing the Middle East
Who are simply seeking a little freedom to live in peace
There’s been some disagreement over how best to address
The question and how to get it correct is anyone’s guess

I only know that to welcome the mass exodus
Is starting down a slippery slope and vast precipice

And I don’t mean to seem insensitive or insincere
Since this isn’t something we can simply wish to disappear
But it’s important I make one thing crystal clear
They may be refugees but we’re the victims here

They escaped a fighting war torn country
But travel only makes a migrant horde more hungry
It basically would take an inexhaustible food source
So I propose they eat their infants toddlers and newborns

And I’m aware that my proposal may be controversial
And even frowned upon in certain modern circles
But I would strongly urge you to consider the millions
We’d be feeding by eating just the littlest children

Because it’s not as if they offer any proper contribution
So before you start in with the stop it’s wrong to use them
Just follow my argument to its logical conclusion
And you’ll see that it can be the only possible solution

For how to solve the problem of a million starving refugees
Not only does it let them eat there’s also less to feed
This will be a necessary step to get some stress relieved
Especially when baby flesh can mesh with any recipe

And once we’ve met this need they’ll come to order
To speedily decrease the numbers flooding through the border
Because once they see the legal path to freedom is peaceful
Then the next thing they’ll want is to be treated as equals

And I mean it’s not like they’re people…
Mm? What’s that? They are people? Human people?
Hrm. And you’re certain? Huh. I see...
Oh no, no, this changes everything
